Joey- Adopted 10/10

Joey- Adopted 10/10

Age: 13 weeks
Gender: Male
Size:  24 lbs (still growing)
Breed: Shepherd Mix

Joey and Phoebe were brought in by a Good Samaritan who found them running the streets. These poor sweet babies were initially shy and scared, but once they went to their foster homes, their true colors began to show. They are both just little lovebugs! Here is the report from Joey’s foster: Joey is mature for his age. He is great on leash and was a model citizen at the mall and around the apartment complex. He is very curious about EVERYTHING ... just watching and taking it all in. He’s good in the crate in the car. He can be a bit shy at first but warms up quickly. He’s happy to hang out at home and snuggle. He thinks he is a lap dog. He is eager for some adventure too. Loves to be outdoors, both walking and playing, and would love to have a yard, but was also able to chill under the table while we had a meal. He quickly learned to sit for treats and learned the family routine quickly. He slept all night. The only obstacle I can see is that he will need some training as he gets larger. He is so happy to greet you that he likes to jump up ... and lick you all over. He is gonna make a GREAT friend to someone!
