Sunflower - Adopted 9/28/19

Sunflower - Adopted 9/28/19

Age: 12 weeks
Gender: Female
Size:  2 lbs (still growing)
Breed: Domestic shorthair

Sunflower, named after a golden flower in honor of her foster family's 50th rescue, came to the shelter terrified and very sad. She hid all the time. But now, she is an outgoing, vibrant young lady, who loves to run around and be a goofball. She loves being near people and other animals, but she does not necessarily interact with people proactively! If touched, she's purrs up a storm and rubs in to your hand, but is still learning to come to people for affection. Given her early sad history, she may always be a little skittish around sudden movement and need time to warm up to people. Her foster parents believe, that with patience and lots of love, she will evolve into a very special girl who will bloom for a lifetime.
