Pets In Need is pleased to offer our clients access to emergency triage services through our trusted telehealth partner, VetTriage. Licensed veterinarians are available to evaluate your pet’s condition and determine whether urgent medical care is needed. If a trip to an emergency clinic isn’t necessary, you’ll receive detailed at-home care instructions to monitor and support your pet. Should immediate attention be required, VetTriage will help guide you to the nearest 24-hour emergency veterinary hospital.
Note: If your pet is struggling to breathe, actively seizing, has collapsed, or is facing a life threatening emergency, go straight to the nearest 24-hour
emergency veterinary hospital. Do not delay care to set up a telehealth visit.
Step 1
Start by filling out the registration form. If you’ve used the service before, simply log in with your email address. Once you click Continue, you’ll be taken to a secure payment portal.
Step 2
In the payment portal, select Purchase Session. You’ll be able to choose from several payment methods, including credit card, debit card, or PayPal. Each session has a flat fee of $50, regardless of how long it lasts.
Step 3
Once your payment is complete, click Request Session to begin a live video consultation with a licensed veterinarian. They’ll evaluate your pet’s condition and, if it’s an emergency, help direct you to the nearest veterinary ER or available on-call vet.
