About Libby

Estimated age: 3 years
Gender: Female
Size: 36 lbs.
Location: Foster

Here’s what her foster parent had to say:

She likes to tear apart dog toys to get the squeaker out. She loves to fetch soft toys that we toss at her and run zoomies in the yard. She is very focused on guarding the property from squirrels and rodents. She regularly patrols the perimeter of the yard. She has excellent indoor manners and could roam the house freely without destroying anything in our absence. We left her alone for up to a few hours with no problems at all. She is a lovebug and super cuddler who wants to follow you around for scratches…I think Libby will need someone very understanding of the need to go slow initially. She's very interested in other dogs but seems uncertain what to do with them besides sniffing them. She liked roughhousing with her older puppies but I don't know about playing with unrelated dogs. She is fascinated by neighborhood cats but she only saw them while leashed. Libby is very eager to be someone's best buddy. We have teenagers and she did fine with them and their friends once introduced. She was a delightful dog to foster and will make someone very happy…Libby knows how to sit and does very well riding in a car. She is understanding of other directions like "off" or "down" but we didn't specifically work on this kind of training. She is very attuned to her humans and clearly wants to please us so she watches us for cues for what to do next. She is eager to go out walking on a leash but tends to pull when she sees a bird, squirrel, etc”
