I’m Recess, and I’m basically a 25-pound ball of wiggles, zoomies, and pure happiness. I’m only 5 months old, but I’ve already mastered the fine arts of grass-rolling, toy-chasing, and making EVERYONE my new best friend. I’m ready to turn your life into one big playground adventure.

What we do
As a 501(c) 3 non-profit animal shelter, we transfer in dogs and cats from public shelters where they are in danger of being euthanized due to space or financial limitations. We then provide them with the best possible care and enrichment until we can help them find their forever homes.
Get Involved
As a non-profit organization, everything we do is made possible through donations of funds, supplies, and time from members of the community. There are many ways to support Pets In Need, including fostering, volunteering and donating cash or in-kind gifts that help us carry out our life-saving mission.
Volunteer your time
We are constantly in search of animal lovers to join our volunteer team and help socialize, exercise, and train our dogs and cats.
Make a Donation
Gifts from the general public are our lifeblood. They allow us to provide our animals with essential care. We are totally supported by private gifts, adoption, and program fees.
