Donate Food & Supplies

We have such a generous community of supporters like you and we could not fulfill our mission without you. However, the substantial volume of in-kind donations has presented logistical and financial challenges. At this time, we can only accept items that address our essential needs which currently include unopened pet food, treats, and towels. We are also accepting items on our Amazon Wishlist. Thank you for your understanding! 

Accepted Items

• Unopened, unexpired, non-prescription, non-refrigerated cat food

• Unopened, unexpired, non-prescription, non-refrigerated dog food

• Cat treats

• Dog treats

• Rabbit treats

• Blankets

• Towels

If you’d like to donate other used items, we suggest contacting our friends at Humane Society Silicon Valley, or your local SPCA, Salvation Army, or Goodwill. For prescription food donations, we suggest calling Alum Rock Animal Hospital.

Drop-off locations

Items can be dropped off during our open hours at both our Redwood City and Palo Alto shelters. Please place your donation inside the blue donation bin next to the front door. 

Shop and ship online

Pet supplies are helpful, too! Due to storage shortages, we are only able to accept in-kind donations that are purchased directly from our Amazon Wishlist or Chewy Wishlist at this time. These Wish Lists are curated by our Animal Care and Outreach teams to identify specific items we need urgently.
