Pet Care Assistance Month 2023

We are excited to share that Pets In Need will be hosting our second annual Pet Care Assistance Month throughout June!

This month, we are expanding our offerings of free and low-cost veterinary services and pet supplies to low-income pet parents, as well as all members of our community in need. We invite you to join us for the special events this month to make sure your pet is safe, healthy, and happy!

Please note that for vaccination appointments and events, cats and dogs must be at least 8 weeks old and healthy to receive vaccinations.

 

FREE VACCINE CLINIC - June 2

Date: Friday, June 2, 3 pm - 5 pm
Location: San Jose Animal Care Center,
2750 Monterey Highway, San Jose, 95111

Our one-day clinic in San Jose provides free core vaccinations (DA2PP, FVRCP and rabies) to help keep your pet healthy and safe. Walk-in only; no registration required.

 

Pet Care Assistance Day - June 3

Date: Saturday, June 3, 11 am - 3 pm
Location: Pets In Need Palo Alto
3281 E. Bayshore Road, Palo Alto, 94303

A full day of care and assistance for all community pets! We're providing free rabies vaccinations and microchips, as well as DA2PP, FVRCP, and Bordetella vaccines at $1O each. We're also giving away pet food and all kinds of supplies (harnesses, leashes, crates, toys, and more) and holding an hourly raffle! Pre-register for vaccines here. Walk-Β­ins are also welcome. Bring one or all your pets!

 

Free Need-Based Vaccinations - All Month

Dates: June 9, 12, 16, 20, 26, and 30 from 10 am - 4 pm
Location: Palo Alto and Redwood City - Location provided with appointment confirmation

Throughout June, we're offering free core pet vaccines (DA2PP, FVRCP, and rabies) for low-income pet parents. By appointment only β€” request yours here. Two-pet limit per client.
