Hi there, I’m Chickadee! One day, while out exploring on my own, I met a kind Animal Control officer—and something told me I had found the right humans to help me on my journey. That choice led me here to Pets In Need, where I’ve been safe, cared for, and dreaming about the day I find a home to call my very own.

I’m a sweet, social girl who truly loves being around people—especially at mealtime! I’m what you might call a “social eater,” happiest when I have company while I snack. Sit with me, and I’ll happily share those cozy, quiet moments with you. I also love Churu treats—they’re the quickest way to my heart. With my gentle, affectionate nature and love for companionship, I’m ready to choose my person all over again. Could that be you?

Come meet me at the shelter during open hours, no appointment needed! Our Palo Alto location is open from 12:30pm - 6:00pm every day. Our Redwood City location is open Thursday - Saturday, 12:30pm - 6:00pm.

Adoptions are first come, first serve. Adopters must be over 18 years old and have a valid ID.

All cats have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.
