Chai is the newest arrival at our shelter, and she’s already warming hearts—just like her namesake. While she’s still getting comfortable in her new surroundings, this lovely lady is showing us just how sweet she truly is .
Chai has a gentle, soulful presence and a quiet curiosity about the world around her. She enjoys observing from a cozy perch, taking in all the activity before leaning in for soft pets and affection. There’s something extra special about the way she looks at you—like she knows she’s finally on the path to finding her forever home.
As she continues to settle in, we’re learning more about her unique personality each day. What we know for sure? Chai is ready for a calm, loving home where she can fully relax, stretch out in a sunny window, and be someone’s cherished companion.

Come meet me at the shelter during open hours, no appointment needed! Our Palo Alto location is open from 12:30pm - 6:00pm every day. Our Redwood City location is open Thursday - Saturday, 12:30pm - 6:00pm.
Adoptions are first come, first serve. Adopters must be over 18 years old and have a valid ID.
All cats have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.
