Calcifer is a strikingly handsome boy with a calm, stoic presence and a surprisingly sweet heart. Though he may seem reserved at first, he forms quiet, loyal bonds and enjoys simply being near his people. A true connoisseur of comfort, Calcifer loves long naps, peaceful corners, and unhurried afternoons spent in serene silence.

Like his namesake, Calcifer carries a gentle inner warmth. While he may not be a mischievous fire demon, there’s a soft glow to his affection—steady, comforting, and constant. Beneath his composed exterior burns a cozy little flame of love for those lucky enough to know him.

Come meet me at the shelter during open hours, no appointment needed! Our Palo Alto location is open from 12:30pm - 6:00pm every day. Our Redwood City location is open Thursday - Saturday, 12:30pm - 6:00pm.

Adoptions are first come, first serve. Adopters must be over 18 years old and have a valid ID.

All cats have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.
