Marmalade is a sweet, slightly shy boy who warms up quickly once he knows you, becoming affectionate and eager to play. He loves curling up for naps with a companion, prefers playful wrestling over toys, and enjoys eating side-by-side with a friend. Marmalade is usually quiet, but once a human walks in, he turns into a nonstop bundle of kitten energy. He’s especially fond of dangly wand toys and will happily chase them around. Loud or sudden movements can make him hide at first, but gentle talking helps him recognize a friendly voice—and then he comes right out for attention and fun.

Come meet me at the shelter during open hours, no appointment needed! Our Palo Alto location is open from 12:30pm - 6:00pm every day. Our Redwood City location is open Thursday - Saturday, 12:30pm - 6:00pm.

Adoptions are first come, first serve. Adopters must be over 18 years old and have a valid ID.

All kittens have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.
