Like many seniors, Misty has faced a few challenges along the way. She’s a bit wary of strangers, especially when she’s not feeling her best. She is also selective about her doggie friends, sometimes feeling protective of her space or getting frustrated when on a leash. But don’t let that fool you—beneath it all, Misty has a heart of gold.
Misty is looking for a special someone who understands the quirks that come with being a senior dog. She thrives in a calm, patient environment where she can relax and enjoy the simple pleasures of life—like a cozy bed, gentle ear rubs, and the warmth of a loving home. Adoptions are first come, first serve. Adopters must be over 18 years old and have a valid ID.
All dogs have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. For most dogs, we do not know their breed as we don’t do DNA tests, but we do know their personalities and are happy to tell you about them!
