Meet Oso, a gentle, tenderhearted pup who may be shy at first but quickly warms up with patience, love, and a few treats. He enjoys quiet companionship and will happily lean in for cuddles once he feels comfortable.
Oso reads and communicates through body language and does best with calm, consistent handling. He gets along with smaller or gentle dogs and is improving his social skills, though he benefits from slow introductions. He’s also learning to stay relaxed around other dogs on leash and will thrive with continued training.
Nearly fully potty trained, crate trained, and comfortable in an x-pen, Oso sleeps well through the night. He’s ready for a calm, structured home that respects his cues and helps him build confidence.

Come meet me at the shelter during open hours, no appointment needed! Our Palo Alto location is open from 12:30pm - 6:00pm every day. Our Redwood City location is open Thursday - Saturday, 12:30pm - 6:00pm.
Adoptions are first come, first serve. Adopters must be over 18 years old and have a valid ID.
All puppies have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. For most puppies, we do not know their breed as we don’t do DNA tests, but we do know their personalities and are happy to tell you about them!
