Alysa is a sweet, curious pup who’s already proving what an incredible companion she’s going to be! In just a few short days in foster care, she has impressed everyone with how quickly she learns and how much she loves being around her people.
This smart girl already knows “sit” and “down,” and she’s working on “drop it,” “off,” and “heel.” She’s very attentive and naturally looks to her humans for guidance, which makes her a joy to train. She even auto-sits when waiting to come out of her crate or go outside!`
Playtime is one of her favorite things! She loves tug-of-war, squeaky toys, and running around the backyard with another dog. She’s also a big fan of enrichment activities like frozen Kongs, pupsicles, and long-lasting chews. When she’s had a good play session, she’s happy to settle down for snuggles or relax with a chew nearby.
If you’re looking for a loving, adventurous pup who also enjoys curling up for cuddles at the end of the day, she might just be your perfect match.

Come meet me at the shelter during open hours, no appointment needed! Our Palo Alto location is open from 12:30pm - 6:00pm every day. Our Redwood City location is open Thursday - Saturday, 12:30pm - 6:00pm.
Adoptions are first come, first serve. Adopters must be over 18 years old and have a valid ID.
All puppies have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. For most puppies, we do not know their breed as we don’t do DNA tests, but we do know their personalities and are happy to tell you about them!
