Groot is a one-of-a-kind little pup with a big personality. He’s confident, curious, and always ready to play—especially in the sunshine and grass. He loves chasing, exploring, and making every moment fun.

He’s also a total cuddle bug who adores being around people and soaking up affection. Like any puppy, Groot can fall asleep anywhere, often in the funniest positions. Playful, sweet, and full of charm, Groot is the perfect mix of energy and snuggles.

Come meet me at the shelter during open hours, no appointment needed! Our Palo Alto location is open from 12:30pm - 6:00pm every day. Our Redwood City location is open Thursday - Saturday, 12:30pm - 6:00pm.

Adoptions are first come, first serve. Adopters must be over 18 years old and have a valid ID.

All puppies have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. For most puppies, we do not know their breed as we don’t do DNA tests, but we do know their personalities and are happy to tell you about them!
