Meet River!
River is a big love bug who’s happiest when she’s right by her people’s side. She’ll let you know she wants attention by trotting right up and sitting in front of you, gazing up with the sweetest puppy-dog eyes that are impossible to ignore. Gentle and affectionate, River politely takes treats as a reward for being such a loving girl. Just like a calm, steady river, her love flows endlessly—once she’s near you, she’ll never want to drift far away. 💙🐾

Come meet me at the shelter during open hours, no appointment needed! Our Palo Alto location is open from 12:30pm - 6:00pm every day. Our Redwood City location is open Thursday - Saturday, 12:30pm - 6:00pm.

Adoptions are first come, first serve. Adopters must be over 18 years old and have a valid ID.

All puppies have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. For most puppies, we do not know their breed as we don’t do DNA tests, but we do know their personalities and are happy to tell you about them!
