Boomer may be a little guy, but he carries himself like the big dog he knows he is. Confident and a bit opinionated, he appreciates being treated with respect and enjoys a thoughtful introduction—win him over with patience and understanding, and he’ll happily show you his affectionate, loyal side.

Once you’re in Boomer’s circle, you’ll discover a playful companion with plenty of love and energy to share. He thrives when his mind and body are kept busy, whether that’s through puzzle toys, engaging training sessions, or daily walks where he can take in the world on his terms.

Boomer would do best in an adult-only home with someone who understands and appreciates his bold personality and can provide the physical and mental stimulation he enjoys. Treat him like the big dog he believes he is, and he’ll reward you with endless fun, companionship, and devotion.

Come meet me at the shelter during open hours, no appointment needed! Our Palo Alto location is open from 12:30pm - 6:00pm every day. Our Redwood City location is open Thursday - Saturday, 12:30pm - 6:00pm.

Adoptions are first come, first serve. Adopters must be over 18 years old and have a valid ID.

All puppies have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. For most puppies, we do not know their breed as we don’t do DNA tests, but we do know their personalities and are happy to tell you about them!
