Shadow isn’t just a name—it’s a promise. He’ll be right by your side through life’s everyday moments, offering quiet companionship, gentle affection, and a heart full of love.
This handsome boy is as sweet as they come. Shadow settled quickly into his foster home and has shown just how much he enjoys a calm, cozy routine. His mornings often begin with sunbathing in the backyard, followed by breakfast and then a return to his bed for a snug, well-earned nap. He loves being pet, leans into affection, and is wonderfully polite when taking treats.
Shadow has great manners to match his loving nature. He knows basic commands, including “wait,” which he practices patiently at mealtimes. He’s also an excellent travel buddy—relaxed in the car and happiest with the windows down so he can take in all the sights and smells along the way.
While he has a calm and cuddly side, Shadow also has bursts of playful energy. When the zoomies strike, he shows off his fun, spirited personality, bringing joy and laughter to those around him.
Shadow would thrive in a loving home where he can be part of the daily routine—whether that’s lounging nearby, going for relaxed walks, or simply being your steady, loyal companion.

Come meet me at the shelter during open hours, no appointment needed! Our Palo Alto location is open from 12:30pm - 6:00pm every day. Our Redwood City location is open Thursday - Saturday, 12:30pm - 6:00pm.
Adoptions are first come, first serve. Adopters must be over 18 years old and have a valid ID.
All puppies have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. For most puppies, we do not know their breed as we don’t do DNA tests, but we do know their personalities and are happy to tell you about them!
