Meet Ruth, a sweet little girl who’s already stealing hearts. Playful, curious, and full of puppy energy, she loves squeaky toys she can squeak all by herself, rubbery balls, backyard exploring, and chasing after a good throw. She’s happiest snuggled up for belly rubs, sitting beside you with a favorite chew (often more exciting than treats—though she does enjoy Bocce’s training treats and mini Milk-Bones!).

Ruth is an incredibly quick learner—already sitting politely for meals, backyard time, and crate exits without being asked, and picking up potty training with ease. She’s confident in new situations, rarely jumps, and has the sweetest, most polite nature. With a strong foundation and eagerness to learn, she’ll thrive with continued training, adventures to the park or on hikes, and plenty of cozy downtime (sleep helps keep that puppy mouthiness in check!).

Ruth is an incredible pup who will grow into a wonderful, loving companion.

Come meet me at the shelter during open hours, no appointment needed! Our Palo Alto location is open from 12:30pm - 6:00pm every day. Our Redwood City location is open Thursday - Saturday, 12:30pm - 6:00pm.

Adoptions are first come, first serve. Adopters must be over 18 years old and have a valid ID.

All puppies have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. For most puppies, we do not know their breed as we don’t do DNA tests, but we do know their personalities and are happy to tell you about them!
