He walks well on leash, stays close by your side, and is already making progress in overcoming his nervousness with new sights and sounds—especially with some sweet talk and treats to reassure him.

Oreo loves all toys and treats, enjoys a fun game of fetch (with a little keep-away mixed in), and is happy to engage in a gentle tug-of-war. While he doesn’t know many commands yet, he’s highly food-motivated and eager to learn! He’s fully house-trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and gets along well with other dogs—though he’d do best with a calm, patient canine sibling to help him feel secure.
