Charley is a stunning Great Dane with a beautiful coat that adds to his regal charm. His initial shyness is merely a curtain that, once lifted, reveals a love bug just waiting to shower his family with affection and loyalty. This gentle giant has a heart of gold and a penchant for turning into an oversized cuddle bug once he feels secure. Charley enjoys romping around and exploring, but what he loves even more is curling up with his human friends for some quality cuddle time. While Charley is eager to make new friends, he could use a bit of guidance in perfecting his dog skills. He's looking for a canine companion who is confident, not easily scared by his size, and patient when Charley gets a little pushy in his enthusiasm. With the right dog friend, Charley will undoubtedly blossom into a well-rounded social pup. Charley is seeking a patient and understanding forever home where he can continue to build his confidence. A family willing to guide him through the process of becoming the best version of himself will find a loyal and loving companion in Charley.

”Charley is so sweet and anyone would be lucky to have him. I see so so so much potential in him, and I think with work, patience, consistency, and compassion he will be ready to take on his challenges. Something to consider is that he is very big and strong, and because of his reactivity, I would not recommend adopting him unless you are sure that you can handle him. However, this also means that there is so much more to love with him, and everyone who has met him has just fallen in love with him! He likes other dogs, so I think he would do good with a young large dog in the house to play with. He would also thrive with people who like to cuddle up with him on the couch and just watch a movie or something. His owners must be ready to work with him with patience and care.”
