ABOUT Donut, Bagel, Cheesecake and Marshmallow

Estimated age: 8 Weeks
Gender: Female
Location: Palo Alto

Meet the Easter bunnies! This litter of adorable little peeps were born right here at Pets In Need on Easter day after their mom came in as a stray. The whole family went to a foster home where they’ve been lovingly cared for, and now they’re ready for their new home!

There are six babies in this litter, two boys and four girls. They can be adopted individually or in same-sex pairs.

Here is what their foster family has to say about the girls:

Donut

Donut is a curious explorer but calm and mild-mannered. She loves to play, racing through the house and doing binkies with joy. She is very friendly with her siblings and her humans - approaching her humans to ask for pets or just to see what they are doing. She loves climbing stairs! She can get all the way to the top but not back down again :)

Bagel

Bagel has a strong, confident personality and fancies herself the leader of the bunnies. She likes to be "in charge". She approaches her humans and demands pets when she wants them, but will shy away when she does not. She is social and loves the company of her siblings and enjoys exploring and racing throughout the house.

Cheesecake

Cheesecake aka Cheeser aka The Big Cheese is a bold, confident explorer who loves finding new places to explore - and sleep in. She has preferred places that are "Cheesecake Places" where we can always find her lounging. She is a big, soft, mellow cuddle bun who enjoys pets and love and will snuggle up for a long pet session either beside her humans or in their laps!

Marshmallow

Marshmallow is a bold explorer - big, strong, curious and confident. She is always getting into new places and with her brother Jeremy, is always the first to try new things - finding the way to the patio or the hidey-holes under the stairs. Marshmallow has learned that her people sit on the couch and so she hops up regularly to explore and receive pets. She will "melt" if you begin petting her and lay beside you on the couch for a cozy pet session.

History

The Easter litter was born at the shelter.
